Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. To compare rates, the quote system needs only gender, age, current health (self-described), tobacco use status, how much coverage you want, and how long you need it. Those six answers are sufficient for carriers to quote you. Your name, home address, and health records stay private unless you choose to apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
These figures represent what each carrier will quote for the tier of health you selected. After you apply, underwriting confirms or adjusts your rate class, and your final rate may be different from what appeared here. None of this qualifies as an insurance offer or a rate commitment.
What happens when I click Apply?
You select the carrier and click Apply. Your responses prefill into the secure application environment operated by the carriers, which continues on their system. You're able to stop, come back, and finish later. Your signature comes electronically. Susman Insurance Agency, License 0B75129, manages applications.
Will I need a medical exam?
It varies by carrier and the product. Some firms can approve right away for eligible candidates; others need more review. Your quote indicates for each option whether an exam is definitely required, may be required, or isn't required.
Is a longer term better?
Good coverage spans the years when your dependents would struggle without your income: mortgage years, raising children, or servicing business debt. Higher terms mean higher monthly costs but protect you with a fixed premium longer. Use the quote tool to see 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30-year options side by side.
Does this site sell my information?
No. Getting quotes doesn't need you to share your name, phone, or email. We don't buy or distribute visitor information, and we don't use tracking advertising. See the privacy page for the full description of what gets collected and by whom.
